I am creating an installation using paintings of three dimensional hybrid images composed of intricate dot patterns and painted with luminous paint. The paintings transform into ambiguous reflected images through the medium of glass or plastic, water, and UV Light and this is highlighted when the audience moves around it within the dark space. The important theme behind my work is human spirituality and transcending the time and space of the universe, which is shown by using the audiences' spiritual vibration, reflecting them onto my three-dimensional dot pattern images, fusing the medium and audiences' bodily movements in the atmosphere of the mysterious dark gallery of space. In this way, the work creates an atmosphere of human spirituality and reflect viewers' emotional states instead of being a simple painted image. Spirituality, in my view, is peoples' feelings, and these can be heightened through images, but what images cause people to feel spiritually is quite unpredictable. The feelings are also physically expressed, so the using of dark space will engage instincts, which would allow the work to reflect the audiences' feelings.The work represents about modern Science Fiction as reflected in science fiction and futuristic fantasy. It conveys the topic of the science with focused on temporality, in particular on the future, and the controversial issue of technological advancements in twentieth century, such as embryonic stem cell manipulation and genetic modification as what the future will bring is impossible to predict. The concept behind the images are created through the form of abstract twisted scientific hybrid human images combined with animal embryos and plants and make visible through the intricacies of small dot patterns.
