‘Hybridisation’, 2019

Installation, Text, 510x740mm

Hybridisation, 2019 explores the question where am ‘I' as both the subject and the object of discussion. Focusing on both the positive and negative aspects of the current state of womanhood and being human, Kim questions the ‘ selves’ of the clichés, prejudices[predudis], and objectifications of ‘I’. This work explores the disconnected and diversified dialogues of everyday life as subjects (a woman and human) who inscribe upon ourselves as if we are objects.

subject = I = men
men = I = men
women = I = men

case study #1:
object = me = women
